Job Description

We are looking for a Legal Counsel to be appointed at the headquarters of our client, one of Turkey’s leading Industrial Consortiums, located in Istanbul.

Responsibilities:

Work under the Chief Legal Counsel within the Legal Department. Participate in all litigation and mediation processes relevant to the institution's area of operation. Ensure the execution of all legal affairs of the institution, particularly in labor law. Monitor legislative changes related to the institution’s interests and inform relevant internal departments and subsidiaries accordingly. Provide legal opinions at the request of the institution’s subsidiaries. Maintain appropriate records, filing, and documentation of the department's work and processes. Facilitate communication with all official institutions the organization deals with. Engage in direct communication with the institution's subsidiaries, conduct visits as planned by the institution, and support the strengthening of relationships. Prepare and submit the institution's opinions on draft legislation related to labor laws for approval.

Qualifications:

Graduate of a law degree program. 7+ years of experience in a related field. Graduated from a reputable university. Preferably holds a master's degree. Qualified and authorized to practice law in Turkey. Strong knowledge and experience in Labor Law and technology law. Preferably experienced in working with unions. Decision-making skills, proactive approach, result-oriented. Strong planning, organization, and communication skills. Proficient in English and able to use it actively. Team player, result, and solution-oriented. Experienced in providing legal opinions. For male candidates, military service must be completed.
