Job Description

We are seeking a client-facing "Technical Project Manager" for our client to lead end-to-end delivery of client change initiatives within a financial services environment.

This role requires strong project management capabilities combined with technical understanding of system integrations, connectivity solutions, and client onboarding processes. Experience with networking or Cisco-related projects is a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Project Management

• Lead end-to-end delivery of client change initiatives, including planning, execution, risk management, and issue resolution. • Collaborate with business units and clients to gather requirements, define project scope, and establish clear deliverables. • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and status reports; communicate progress to stakeholders and senior leadership. • Conduct user training sessions and prepare documentation to support successful adoption. • Oversee onboarding of new financial products and client connectivity solutions. • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, coordinating with global and U.S.-based teams to ensure timely delivery.

Technical Project Management

• Partner with IT, vendors, and business teams to troubleshoot and resolve system integration issues. • Support implementation of technical solutions, ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance with U.S. regulations. • Monitor file transfers and connectivity performance post-implementation; drive continuous improvements.

Collaboration & Communication

• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor. • Bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders by translating business requirements into actionable solutions. • Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and mitigation strategies. • Promote collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement across global teams. • Support change management initiatives to ensure adoption and engagement.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in project management within systems implementation or integration environments. • Background in financial services, preferably banking, payments, or related domains. • Strong track record of delivering projects on time and within scope. • Solid understanding of integration concepts, including APIs, file transfers, and connectivity solutions. • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including interaction with senior leadership. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Familiarity with data security, compliance, and U.S. regulatory standards. • Experience working in global or cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with networking environments or Cisco-related projects. • Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, MS Project, and Confluence. • Project management certifications, such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile, are a plus.
