Our client is seeking a Senior Functional Consultant – Banking Applications & IT Integration to support the optimization, integration and management of critical financial applications within a complex enterprise environment.
You will act as a bridge between business requirements and technical solutions, helping maintain reliable financial operations while improving applications, processes and infrastructure.

What you'll do
- Manage and optimize functional applications supporting banking and financial operations
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective IT solutions
- Support integrations between enterprise applications, data interfaces, payment providers and financial platforms
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, vendors and technical teams to improve application performance and reliability
- Support SWIFT, cloud migration and financial infrastructure transformation initiatives
- Troubleshoot functional and technical issues while maintaining operational continuity
- Contribute to application and process improvements across complex enterprise environments
- Produce and maintain relevant documentation and provide knowledge support
- Help ensure business and technical teams remain aligned throughout transformation initiatives
What we're looking for
- 8+ years of experience in functional consulting, application management, IT consulting or financial technology
- Strong understanding of banking applications, enterprise integrations and information management
- Practical experience with payment systems, SWIFT environments and enterprise applications
- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
- Experience working effectively with business users, technical teams, vendors and other stakeholders

Nice to have
- Experience within banks, financial institutions or large multinational/corporate environments
- Knowledge of SWIFT AL2 and related financial infrastructure
- Experience with cloud migration projects

- Exposure to Target2-related initiatives
- Experience managing interim consulting assignments or long-term enterprise IT projects
